are you kidding me

is there a luckier team in this tournament than UCLA. They service by scoring 53 points against 9th seeded Texas A/M and now will play the winner of the 12 vrs 13 game as Western Kentucky plays San Diego tomorrow. I bet those of you who have UCLA to win it all were sweating bullets. Credit Kevin Love and Tollenson. Without them, UCLA would be the first number one to lose on the first weekend in sometime.

Jamie Dixon and the Pitt panthers are gone. Bobby Knight's pick to win it all were outplayed by Tom Izzo's Michigan State Spartans. Look for this to be Dixon's last game as Pitt coach. As soon as Tim Floyd leaves USC to coach LSU, Dixon will travel to LA to take over at USC to be near his mentor Ben Howland at UCLA, and closer to his wife's family in Hawaii. I have confirmed that John Feinstein will be a guest on the show Wednesday. Cant wait to get his take on the Sweet Sixteen, and as a Duke graduate, how the Duke nation will take another early exit from the Tournament.

By the way, of the top 12 seeds, only Duke is gone. The good are good, the rest make it fun

and good thing too, as i got ucla in my final. heh.

i will cheer for anyone that plays against michigan state and crybaby izzo. oh, and that cramper neitzel. i really wanted pitt to be the one. oh well, they'll get what they deserve and we can hear izzo whine again.

Heh, all I got to say at this point is . . . Davidson. Hooo-man. What an achievement. All I kept saying near the end, was "c'mon Hoyas." Do you REALLY wanna be the teams who play them next?

Oh, yeah, and Western Kentucky, too. Too much. At this rate, Duke'll be headed to NIT competition in coming years (I predict that'll happen once Coach K. leaves). Either that or play Coach J's team -- juuuuusssss' kidding!

As I mentioned in another thread, went to Easter Brunch, Tennessee was tied w/whoever . . . came back from the brunch, turned on the radio in the car, Tennessee wins. Great day.

memphis and ucla barely win.

i remember when the hoyas came to the rainbow classic the other year. i think they ended up 7th or 8th.

people must be looking at their brackets and saying, now what?!? at least its everyone.
